election night

So I don't know about the rest of you, but we've got interesting plans this evening, the usual Tuesday routine aside. As JaBootaay's mom said, we've got to drink tonight for all the relatives we have who never got to see this day come, and we've got a lot of relatives.

We're doing that with South African pinotages and jello shots. We've got red ones and blue ones. The rules are simple. The colour of the shot corresponds to whatever way each state voted when the final ballot count in is. So even if a state votes the wrong colour, they'll be something good out of it. Like whatever flavour goes hand in hand with the still mysterious Red 40.
