jimmy's no. 43

This NYC bar gave us a nod on this day exactly four months ago. I figured we should mark the occasion with a link back. Also, I just noticed.

Either way, gotta love folks who get on the slow food movement.

Erin just became mad tasty, loves crazy cupcake flavors, and only recently discovered the magic of her crockpot, visit her at a nesting experience for more.

Denise takes a nondiscriminatory and open approach to food: there are few flavors, ingredients or preparations she excludes, is always trying something new, and likes to use unique-one purpose only pans. *N.b. one exception: bacon will never make it into any recipe, so bacon lovers, stay away!

JaBootaay is a no good, down dirty cook who's semi-southern upbringing inspires many of his culinary tricks. Also an obsessive collector of South African Pinotages, he possesses a knack (some call it a habit) for pairing vino with any dish.

danielle is a wandering soul currently tethered in ohio. she chronicles her misadventures in cooking here and her daily disasters there. the shift button on her computer must not work or something.

SHaKe & BaKe are a dynamic baking duo with a talent for sophisticated cocktails.

Lukas initially arrived via thanks for sharing. These days you can also find him over at Veggie Burger Madness, where he's been testing and previewing selections from his forthcoming book, "Veggie Burgers Every Which Way," for sale June 2010.

Marichulany is our Workout Queen. If you want to eat well and play hard, read on there son. She'll point you in the right direction.

[dave] has been a happenstance vegetarian since 2000. He finds it really difficult to use capital letters so be sure to let him know if he needs a few.

Mairead lives in Dublin. She is not big on quantities in recipes. She couldn't measure a cup of anything to save her life, but gives out dashes and dollups with the best of 'em. Cheese finds its way into most of her cooking.

Bunner makes health-savvy broke to baller smorgasbords with her pal Raoul both here and at Get and Stay Fit!.

Alana is a consummate lady.

Marcy is a DIY writer and blogger who is passionate about cooking and baking. Currently working as a writer for Networx.com, Marcy is also the mother of 3 young children who she cooks for almost every night.

Colleen is a cruel mistress.

Rachel is footloose sojourner and conscious eater who loves to cook for and with family and friends. Currently based in New York City, she is pursuing her Master's degree so she can stick to her vow of never having to work in the food service industry again.

Sarah is a sometime Italian/vegan chef cum layabout, not afraid to cook meat for the carnivores. Currently based in Mexico doing feck-all, her cooking is influenced by countless dinner parties in Glasgow and Dublin. Good times ya'll, good times.
